LexieGirl Clothing was the brainchild of cofounders Faith Moser and Kim Bernstein. The concept was born out of their mutual desire as stay-at-home moms for shopping convenience and personalized design.

It all began in 2005 when Faith was shopping for her then 8-year-old daughter, Lexie. She left the mall frustrated by the lack of selection and the inappropriate designs of that limited selection for young girls. She took the matter into her own hands and began developing a line of girls clothing.

Kim, meanwhile, had founded AtHomeMoms.com, a website that offers work at home business opportunities for moms, as well as resources on parenting. When Kim asked Faith about her clothing idea during a walk one day, it was synergy waiting to happen. The idea for LexieGirl Clothing was born. Its name inspired by Faith’s daughter, Lexie.

Today, Kim and Faith still operate LexieGirl Clothing. However, they moved the company from Faith’s garage to a larger warehouse in Canoga Park, California.

LexieGirl Clothing offers two seasonal collections lines –spring/summer and fall/winter – for both girls and women. LexieWear, launched along with LexieGirl Clothing, is a collection for women who prefer comfort and style in fashionable, trendy, everyday wear. Both lines include made-to-order clothing that feature customized designs and styles.

LexieGirl Clothing and LexieWear are sold exclusively by LexieGirl Fashion Consultants through in-home parties and individual orders. Started as a home-based company housed in a garage, today, LexieGirl Clothing has expanded into a nationwide enterprise.

A true fashionista at heart, Faith Moser knows fashion and what it takes to make an outfit work. A native of Northridge, California, Faith graduated in 1988 from California State University Northridge (CSUN) with Bachelor’s degree in communications and marketing.

Upon her graduation, Faith went to work for Robinsons Department Store where she worked her way to become a buyer. From there, Faith went on to become a merchandise planner for the Broadway Department Store. After giving birth to her son, Connor, in 1994 and her daughter, Lexie, two years later, Faith put her career on hold to raise her children full time.

Her frustration in the lack of clothing selection and the inappropriate designs of that limited selection for young girls prompted her think ‘off the rack’ and begin developing a line of girls’ clothing. In 2005, she started LexieGirl Clothing with her friend, Kim Bernstein. Drawing on her expertise as a gifted designer and intelligent buyer, Faith oversees purchasing and design at LexieGirl Clothing.

Today, Faith lives with her husband, Paul, and two children, Connor (14) and Lexie (12). She is actively involved with the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life fundraiser, enjoys vacationing with her family and spending time with friends.

Faith’s life motto is “If you don’t ask, you will never receive.” She is happy to say that she did ask her friend Kim to join her in LexieGirl Clothing.

Dedicated to making a positive difference in people’s lives, Kim Bernstein embodies the true spirit of an entrepreneur. Upon graduating from Santa Clara University in 1992 with a degree in finance, Kim worked as a district manager of Corporate Sales for ADP, a payroll services company based in San Francisco, CA.

After have her daughter, Marjolaine in 1998, Kim pioneered AtHomeMoms.com, one of the first web sites for stay-at-home moms. The site quickly became one of the best parenting resources and work-at-home opportunities for women across the nation.

Always the entrepreneur, in 2005 she partnered with her friend, Faith Moser, to launch LexieGirl Clothing. As a dynamic sales rep, Kim’s focus at LexieGirl Clothing is to expand the base of fashion consultants to a national base.

Kim lives with her husband, Will, and two children, Majolaine (9) and Reese (7) in Northridge, California. After losing her mother to cancer in 1996, Kim became involved with the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. For five years, she has been an active participant, raising funds for this worthy cause.

Like a proud parent, Kim takes pride in LexieGirl Clothing as a company that provides a flexible business opportunity for women that allows them to be at-home moms while empowering them to have their own successful business.
